My name is Andrew Van Le.

I’m 24 and I live in Portland, Oregon.

Currently reading: The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle (second time)

I design.

I fell in love with problem solving at a young age, and discovered design in high school, which turned out to be a beautiful form of problem solving. I graduated from Chapman University in 2015 with a BFA in Graphic Design.

I am currently working full-time hours as an externally-contracted Graphic Designer at Nike, and am not looking for freelance design work. My current design portfolio happens to be dated, and updating it with recent projects is taking a bit longer than I had hoped, so that will be coming soon, hopefully in a few weeks.

I take photos.

Since I can remember, my dad was always taking photos. I guess he got me into the idea of using cameras. I took two years of film photography in high school—learned how to develop negatives and prints—that’s when I fell in love with photography.

I am currently a photo contributor for Sick Snaps and am available for photo commissions, including tours. Check out my photo portfolio here.

I do other stuff.

No shit, right? I know this is a portfolio site and I’m supposed to sell you on my work and services, but at the end of the day, I’m a person just like you. I like life and I like a lot of what it has to offer. I don’t like limiting myself to just my career(s).

My interests extend into music, food, music, writing, yoga, reading, film and TV, and so many other things. Life is full of exciting things to do and get stoked about. Above all, my favorite thing to do is learn—what’s more exciting than getting better at something and seeing progress?

I plan on launching a blog soon, and perhaps even a shop? Until then, maybe check out my band?
